Dec. 19 (UPI) -- SpaceX launched 23 Starlink Internet satellites into low-Earth orbit Monday night from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Liftoff for the Certification-1 (Cert-1) mission is set for 2:18 a.m. EST (0718 UTC) from Space Launch Complex-41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The satellites lifted off at 6:12 p.m. Eastern on a Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, after clearing threats of poor weather that delayed a SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch at the Cape yesterday.
